A clear process for identifying, reviewing, and correcting material errors.
Report a concern
Email [email protected] with the page URL, disputed statement, and supporting source when possible. Do not include personal health information.
Review process
We assess the original wording, supporting evidence, clinical significance, and whether newer authoritative information changes the conclusion.
Correction levels
- Minor typographical or formatting corrections may be made silently.
- Material factual corrections should be noted on the affected page.
- Changes that substantially alter a conclusion should explain what changed and update the review date.
Urgent safety issues
Potentially harmful medical inaccuracies receive priority review, but this contact channel is not an emergency or clinical service.
